How much traffic are you getting?

Unless you're getting a LOT, and I mean a LOT, you'll make little more than chump change..

A good place to start would be eads.com..
 
i dunno exactly..maybe 10,000 unique visitors per month..
could be anywhere from 8,000-20,000...not sure
 
Yeah, eads would be a good place to start. You really need a couple hundred thousand a month to get a semi-decent ad deal. And today, ads really suck and pay almost nothing nowadays..

That's actually much worse..as you really have to recognized for companies to want ad space..But the best way would be to add an Advertising section to your site (same way Anand does), and if companies are interested, they'll e-mail you and you can either host and control their ads yourself (hard to do and not worth the trouble for one or two companies) or have a third-party do it (i.e. Engage Media).

But this requires a whole lot more traffic to attract advertisers to do..even Anand is having trouble selling all his ad space (which is evident because you see the same Low Rate Loans ad on the forums way too often).

So yeah, not to really discourage you or anything, but these days it's really hard to make money off of internet advertising. Even the bigger companies are making about 10% (not 10% off but 10%) of what they made this time last year.
 
i use to use "noonesadvantage" (cant type real name) but that stupid company kept accusing me of cheating and took all my money even though they apoligied and never gave my 20 bucks buck...i hate that stupid company
 
try Banner Brokers

i used them a long time ago with my first website...they paid but eventually traffic shot through the roof and they accused me of cheating them. Pretty much banner co. suck nowadays.
