Any good alternatives to Gmail Notifier?

At work I use Gmail Notifier and it works great, but at home my Win XP system has multiple users that can login. I am the only one that uses gmail and everyone else has to deal with the notifier login screen every time they login. Is there some way around this? Is there possibly another good small footprint taskbar application that will allow me to configure it for a single user?

I love the simplicity of Gmail notifier, I only wish it would ask you during installation which users it should run on.

I have Gmail notifier on Mozilla Firefox (which is open any time my PC is on), installed to the profile directory rather than the application directory.

I'm sure that will work as you wish.

For the Gmail firefox plugin (go to Tools --> Extensions --> Get More Extensions and it'll bring you there...search for it). Personally I prefer Trillian to do it for me (good for you since it is for just yourself and not everyone on the PC)... there's a plugin called You've Got Gmail for Trillian... works great.

Thanks for the tips, but this has actually turned into a non-issue.

I installed gmail notifier and during the install I unchecked the "Run at startup" box. Then after installation was complete I just inserted a shortcut to it in my startup folder. Worked perfectly.

I actually prefer Gtray over Google's GMail Notifier. GMN just seems kinda slow and laggy, especially on my work system (P3 1Ghz, 512mb RAM), so I've just stuck to using GTray.
