any good 2 player co-op games to play with my new router?

My roommate and I are just split for a router. I have my DSL connection hooked up, and everything is going great. Are there any first person shooters out there that have a co-op mode to where we can play through together over the network?

Doom 2 with the jDoom port. Good old Doom 2 action with networking support, mouselook, OpenGL rendering, dynamic lights, etc.

Its an older game but it was a lot of fun when my roomate and I played through it about 2 years ago.

I think Duke Nukem 3D had a coop mode.

Yeah, Serious Sam: Second Encounter is a BLAST to co-op with. Me and 3 of my friends played through it and it was so much fun. I think we would have beat it too but we ended up getting drunk while playing (which made it even more fun) so it didn't happen
