any good 1440p monitors under 25" ???

looking around for a 1440p monitor, but i can't find anything that isn't 27". they're all 27" and thats way too big for me. I sit too close to the monitor, I don't have a lot of physical space and it probably won't fit on my desk. I'm looking for something in the 21-23" range but can't find anything. Is it just me or do these not exist?

Depends on how far you sit from your monitor. My head is about 3 feet from my monitor and I purchased a 28" Display awhile ago and returned it the next day. Playing games would make me wanna blow chunks. Everyone is different 😉

You haven't used a 2560x1440 monitor have you? Not sure what 28" you used but keep in mind that 1440p has nearly double the pixels of 1080p. At default windows 7 DPI settings text is very tiny on a 27 inch. Very, very tiny. On my 27's I have to use larger font sizes in chrome and firefox on top of higher windows XP style DPI settings. I'd say 27 inches is only borderline usable for 2560x1440, in fact 2560x1600 on a 30 incher feels about perfect.

I will say I used a 1080p 27 inch monitor (TN panel) in the past - and for 1080p, yes it is horrible. I don't know what I hated more, the pixelation of 1080p on a 27 or the color shifting viewing angles of TN panels. I think I hate both 1080p and TN panels about equally.

No I haven't. I can say that for general use it was fine. Just for gaming it was too much - motion sickness or something was setting in. (---- Puke

No joke, i'm sure everyone is aware of this. Now here's my question: is the macbook pro a desktop monitor? The MBP has specific DPI settings for the retina display. I'm talking specifically to answer the question, are there any desktop displays that are 1440p, yet are lower than 27 inches. The answer is no.
