I'm turning 16 in a few days and my parents are constantly asking me what I want as a gift. (They're not really original, nor can they think up gift ideas themselves, so they've always asked me and my sister what we want)

I told them to just count my dad's old car that they're giving me as the present - 1995 Camry ... solid car. But they're saying that that doesn't count, since it's not "something new" (and since they didn't count it as my sister's gift when she got that car 7 years ago)

So ... what should I ask for?

How bout a JVC G820 Car CD/MP3 player w/ IPOD controls and 2 15" subwoofers from JL Audio with a Elemental designs amplifier. Throw in a year subscription to Sirius so you can listen to Howard Stern on the way to school! 😀

Haha, that'd be awesome.

Only thing is that it's an 11 year old car with 240,000 miles on it. Don't want to put too much money into it since I'm not so sure how long it's going to last 😛

I'm not really sure. I guess ... within the same price range as an iPod?

I'm pretty sure they can pay for anything, it's just that I don't like them buying me high-end items. Just something in me that says I should work for them myself (i.e. worked over the summer to pay for my computer & digital camera)
