Any get Good Friday off of work?

Out of all of my acquaintances... I am the only one who gets Good Friday off.

It's funny. All of my friends' workplaces get all the Liberal holidays off and we get all the Christian holidays off.

I work at a manufacturing facility, but in the offices.

I guess it's a grass roots sort of thing.

I have off but since I'm a contractor, I don't get paid for it.

Working an extra hour per day this week to at least not lose too much money on my paycheck.

I believe where I work the option to take that day off would be considered using one of our "personal choice" holiday off days.

I get friday off, I think it is a Stat Holiday in Canada. Also, I get a day off in lieu for Sunday as well, which I can use any other day of the year... most people take Monday.
