Any general advice on selling multiple components?

Hope this is OK to post here - evidently there's no where in the Merchandise and Shopping forums where this sort of question is allowed.

Does anyone have advice on how to sell parts from an old rig after upgrading? I have a case/mobo/cpu/ram/psu combination - basically a whole core system minus hard drives and a video card. Am I better off trying to market these items as a package or individually?

I know it probably depends on the parts themselves but I don't want to turn this into a For Sale thread by posting the details. It's a very high quality mobo from late 2006, the other parts (C2D) are all solidly midrange.

Really I'm just new to selling old parts and would really appreciate some advice on general strategies for proceeding!

C2D isn't going to bring in a lot, but:
- if you want less work post in FS/FT forum here after reading the rules sticky. You can start trying to sell bundles (keep the case separate since shipping alone is probably $20+) then switch to single parts if no one bites.

- if you want the most money sell part-by-part on eBay and hope you don't get idiots, scammers or non-paying bidders. Be sure to ship with insurance and delivery confirmation or Paypal will let the buyer keep the part and their money.
