Any games similar to the old Fighting Force?

I remember playing this game on the ps1, thinking it was very cool. There was an arcade game very similar, but i cannot remember the name.

I know i can download it to my psp from the PSN. But im looking for similar games that have come out since then. I know Mad World is Similar in the 3rd person perspective and pickin up weapons aspect.
