Any fun ideas for New Year's Eve with a gf/bf...

Yeah, where are you located? I use to live about an hour from Niagara Falls, and going there on New Year's Eve would be awesome.... though if you plan on staying at a hotel, better book it ahead of time. But with all the Disney decorations up (they had all teh Disney characters lined up and down the walk in the snow) and lights, it was romantic.

Drive out to somewhere quiet, lay on top of the car besides each other and listen as the ball is dropped.

(most places I know are virtually empty because everyone wants to be somewhere when the new year drops).

Yes you'll be freezing your butts off but.. mehh im outta ideas...

we're by nyc..

but we definitely don't wanna do that either. nothing BIG....that's why no parties.

oh..and nothing that requires spending money...

hehe..i guess our options are limited.

I love going to Niagara to see the lights!

My gf and I planned on just driving down to San Diego and staying the night there and going out to eat.. really simple night..

but then her parents called a few months ago and want her to go back to taiwan, so we'll be there for christmas and new year's 😀

but i think really simple things are good for new year's.. i'd rather spend that time with just her rather than going out to somewhere loud and with lots of people.

I usually invite a small group of friends over my place to celebrate the occassion. Mostly we converse, play a few board games, talk bout old times.... It's a cheerful, fun filled night usually.

see..i'm like that too (about the simple part). and we talked about it on the phone just a little while ago..

and he seems so....uncaring. I'm trying to figure something that's not a party, that doesn't require money and something that won't make me so bored i'll go crazy.

argh..he's being so uncooperative about this. Maybe it's trying to hint that he doesn't want to do anything with ME? Maybe I should just not bring it up again or think about it unless he does...

and if he doesn't want to do something with me....then i'll just find a way to deal and stay unmiserable.

bleh....oh well.

You could go celebrate Times Square with everybody else... that's like the biggest happening place in the world... and it's free.
