any freeware that will undelete some files?

accidentally deleted a folder that I really need.

the files are large so some of the try before you buy apps won't work.

I have never had much success undeleting files. I tried to do this a couple years ago on a friends computer but unless the person basically turns off their computer right after they delete the file then you run a very high risk of windows overwriting part or all of the hard drive area where those files used to be (which often times makes the entire file useless).
