hi everyone:

a lot of the free web-based email accounts like hotmail, yahoo...etc have these stupid little signatures that amount to advertising. there is no way to delete them or remove them.

can anyone recommend a free web-based email that DOES NOT have advertisements in their default signature?

thanks.

If are talking about when you sign up for an e-mail address and you have to give them your main address and they spam that address. Then I would suggest you go to geek.com and apply for an address there all you have to do is fill in a painless survey and you dont have to give them your real address

thanks for everyone's input. i was referring to default signatures found on many free web-based email accounts, and not spam.

Yes, FlashMail does have the ad signatures but only when you send mail through their web-based client. Flashmail can use POP3 in addition to HTTP, so just use an email program like Outlook or Outlook Express to send and receive mail through Flashmail and you won't have those ad sigs in your email messages.
