It seems 192K is the point where you can't tell it between a higher bitrate? Can I get one that'll do 192K?

KDOG, Lame MP3 Encoder is free and encodes at any bitrate specified I believe. From experience so far I have to say it's the best one I've used.

You're in luck, LAME is the best MP3 encoder out there, and happens to be free.

Prepare for some enlightenment, this site will explain just about everything (check out the forums too).

If you are ripping directly from a cd use Exact Audio Copy with the Lame encoder and it will do what you want and it is easy and fast to use.

Bladeenc used with AG works up to 320 Kbps. Never had a problem with it for the past 2 years.
