Check out usenet: alt.binaries.hdtv. Occasionally there is some good nature schtuff posted. Also check out the sub groups .repost and .x264 both of which contain x264/AVC recodes which sport much superior compression with virtually no loss in quality from the predominant olde timey MPEG-2 broadcast sources. Note that OTA or in any case PBS are free so don't anyone bother making a peep aboot piracy
