Any free file storage service with drag and drop support?

Do any exist? I don't have that many files (mostly documents) but am afraid of going the ol' FTP server route - I just lost 50 megs of documents due to a mistake on my end (forgot to renew - doh!). I'd like something free, reliable, and with easy D&D support/explorer integration. I'm probably asking for too much but I'm just curious...

Be nice if they had drag and drop and batch drag and drop but most have that dumb browse button.

Sometimes old school is lame.

What are you afraid of by going FTP?

That's what I'm wondering.

FTP works great for me. Also if you're transferring a few smaller files you don't need an FTP client.

If your web host offers cPanel, login to www.yourdomain.com/cpanel click File Manager and you should know the rest. It works great if your work/school blocks FTP.

Yep 🙂 I did FTP a 30+ mb file via the Cpanel file manager once - no issues there 🙂

Well, I'd like something that I'd KNOW would be around for years. Like I had a document that I wrote 4 years ago that I wish I still had on my server. But I canceled that domain name and totally forgot about that one file. Totally my fault, I know. But if i had it on say yahoo! it would be pretty safe.

I know, I'm an idiot. My point is that I'm just curious if something free exists. I'd like to keep my documents and website seperate if possible.

Make your on FTP outta a home PC, thats what I've done for years, whenever I need to get something I can connect to it from any PC with a internet connection anywhere in the world.

Best of all its free!
