I recently got two textbooks to read over the holidays. But I would like to discuss it with people and I'm not in school anymore. This is obviously not for homework, just discussion.

Undergrad : Economics and Applied Math

PhD : Economics

A lot of the modern applied math and statistics textbooks are heavily reliant on computers. Sometimes I just feel like understanding something without having to have a computer nearby. Pure math seems to be the only redoubt for me.

http://www.mersenneforum.org/ is the only one I know of. Looks like your texts are more topological, unless that second one has anything to do with the Riemann Hypothesis. (Looks like it doesn't.)
