I'm thinking about going out to get Chaos Theory later and was wondering what anyone who already owns it thinks...
Is it true that it has SM3.0 and HDR support?

I've played through the first couple missions. It's good stuff. They've changed the controls & the camera slightly, and the camera seems a little quirky in close quarters, but it's not too bad.

The graphics are awesome. I have a 6600GT, and I'm running it at 1024x768 w/ SM3.0 and I'm very impressed.

How playable is it with a keyboard and mouse? I was under the impression that the Splinter Cell games were initially for console, then converted for PC use. Such games tend to have wonky controls, or so I have found in the past.

Does the insertion of frog DNA allow for unpredicted sexual reproduction that leads to disaster?

The first Splinter Cell was PC only at first, wasn't it?

In any case, I've only played the SC games on PC, so I can't compare it to the consoles. But the controls work great as far as I'm concerned. WSAD move obviously, and the scroll wheel on the mouse increases/decreases your movement speed.

it rocks.

and yes it's better than brothers in arms (and yes I have both).

However, it is near impossible to try and find time to NOT play wow.

No, it was initially an XBox exclusive that was then ported to the PC and the other consoles.

I prefer the Xbox version. SC is one of those games that is just naturally suited for a console controller.
