It is supposely a web site that pays you to post banners in your webpage, but there is a lot more to it...

You have to get a lot of hits on your site in order for these programs to generate any money for you. If you just want to run some banners and get paid for click-throughs (as opposed to commissions if people buy something), try ValueClick, they've worked out pretty good for me in the past... but now my click-throughs have been going down - I guess people hate banner ads and are ignoring them
