I was thinking of putting one of these in my daughters computer. She only uses it for internet, email and IM with her friends.

The only reason I was leaning toward this mobo is the nforce2 chipset and the onboard graphics. Some gaming maybe involved in the future and I was thinking I could add a better graphics card later.

On a side note this mobo will fit in any ATX case...right...???????

The nForce2 will play games, but not super well. I've had success playing BF1942, SOF2, Rainbow Six 3, and Call of Duty on a nForce2 board with onboard graphics, but the resolution was turned down quite a bit, and almost all extra graphics features were turned off or low. If you were to use the board I suggested you won't want to play any 3D games, that's for sure.

The board should fit a full size case. I don't know why it wouldn't.

I have some computers running the A7N8x Deluxe version but don't really need the bells and whistles for this computer. I don't see any drawbacks for using this board vs the Deluxe..... but I could be wrong

No worries, it'll fit in any normal ATX case, the G4MX IGP is plenty for light gaming if you use 2 sticks in dual channel, and adding a 2500+ will keep it capable of what she's using it for, for years to come.
