Can office type dedicated fax machines do a mass faxing? like if I have 300 dealers i need to send a fax to, is there a way to add them in all at once and do a fax that way?
This is not spam, this is for legitimate business purposes.

I'm not familiar with faxes all that much but I'm not sure if thats possible in that scenario.

Would it be possible with some kind of fax software? I think that would be more likely and probably 100x easier.

We have a Lanier 5222 and it can do that, you are probably better off with one of those e-mail a fax programs though.

broadcast faxing is the term you are looking for.

most fax machines will do it, but you have to enter the numbers.

You need fax software with broadcast faxing capability. I'm not sure if a dedicated fax machine can do batch jobs.

Get the list of recipients from a database or spreadsheet and trim the fields down to just NAME, COMPANY, FAX #, and maybe PHONE #.
Sort the list into the desired order. I sort by fax #.
Export that list to a comma separated values file (.csv).
Create a phone/address book in the fax software and import those recipient entries from the .csv file.
Now you have a populated phone book you can select a list of recipients from.
