This conversation came up over lunch. Fast food places are pretty much the king of french fries, yet no one could think of one that did garlic fries. Curious, I look through the McD, Burger King, Jack in the Box, Carl's Jr, and Wendy's menus, and none of them seem to have it.

Any one know of any fast food places that carry it?

Fast food places are slow to catch on. You have to go to full service restaurants.

Might as well call them fart fries. The rest of the food messes you up enough, no reason to add GARLIC.

The only time I have had these is at baseball games, and boy does it taste good when drinking beer.

None of the fast food places here have them AFAIK...dammed tasty though.

A couple of sit-down restaurants have them.

Actually I've found that the best combination is:
McDonalds fries (order them unsalted so you get a fresh batch)
Garlic powder (preferably freshly ground from dried garlic chunks)
Kosher salt (not too huge of crystals though, maybe 3-5x the size of table salt)
Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)

Put it all in a ziploc bag and shake.... MMMMMMM tasty.
