Any falconers here? (Or other pet lovers)

Just wondered if anyone here does falconing? Have a few pets, and a bird but no bird of prey. Been thinking it would be cool to get a predatory bird but heard it takes alot of time, effort and money.

So, any falconers that can give first hand advice?

The only falconry experience is from watching "the falconer" from SNL. As you can tell my knowledge is extensive
