Any experiences with pre-paid wireless?

Anyone here have any positive or negative experiences with pre-paid wireless?

Used a tracfone, its alright, not cheap but its there if you need it.

Tracfone - was good. Phone kinda sucked but the service was good in NYC

I used Virgin for awhile. Service was ok, as was the phone.

Nothing spectacular, though; I'm much happier with Verizon.

Ive used the AT&T Prepaid service but this was over 2yrs ago, Service is good but it is very very expensive in the long run.

I used tracfone when I had no credit. It did its job as an emergency phone.
