I'm trying to eliminate issues/possibilties with my server and I'm starting with the PS XION-700P14N. The PS is running a Tyan S2877 board, with Dual Opty 270's and a Thermaltake CL-P0075 HSF. For video I am using a ATI x1950gt. And memory I am using 4 sticks of 2GB DDR400. There is 2 120 thermaltake fans, along with 2 80's.

Future looks like 2 SATA HD's total, 3 SATA burners total.

Go a PSU designed around a server heritage. I recommend the Ultra X3 series, PC&C, Seasonic, and Zippy.
 
How much does it cost? The etasis 750w PSU is going for 100$ at newegg, AR. Can't go wrong with that PSU, and I bet it's cheaper yet better then the XION PSU.

My Xion PowerReal 500 just died on me last night. I bought it in August of 2006. Had stable rails the whole time I had it, and was playing WoW, and it croaked. I'm not mad about it, but then again It's just past the 1 year mark when you can't get a replacement. I'm going with Enermax or someone that has a 3 or 5 year warranty. After this experience I'm willing to dump 200 bucks into a power supply with a great warranty, and reputation
 
200$ is ridiculous for your rig. 500w antec earthwatts will do just fine, so will a corsair 450vx or 520hx. I think all come with 3-5y warranty ...

I actually got the Xion for 90 bucks shipped new off ebay. About the only reason I got it.
