They work just like any other keyboard, works as long as you are somewhat facing the reciever...

Mouse sucks down batteries.

Aquaman, I've own about 3 sets of their wireless KB's & mice and haven't had any issues yet. The only reason I've upgraded over time is because the next new model just has more "cool" features that I like, not because any of them have ever failed on me. Hope this helps :)

and if they do somehow fail, just call logitech and they'll send a replacement

I wouldn't worry about batteries either, just use recharables

I like the slick look of the keyboard and the mouse is much better than that big wireless piece of crap ms comes out with. this one actually fits in your hand and it doesn't hurt your wrist to move it around

ps - don't get ms wireless mouse, the big one I mean, gaming sucks so much on it

I have the Logitech wireless keyboard+mouse

The KB is ok! It types ok, but the mouse is sucky! It's imho to heavy and has a bit delay, this is very annoying when playing games like UT or Q3A... so i bought the Mouseman Dual Optical along with it, the wireless mouse is catching dust right now...!

I use 2 sets -one for this term, and one for my old serving pc- very useful havng both mice on this desk, without tripping over wires. Bought first Remote desktop in 2000 and corded stuff just does my head in now.

Ive never had any real issues with them, but nothings perfect.

1. The transmission range isnt huge, but good enough
2. Keyboard bateries should be Duracell or any proper long life batts - rechargables are less than useful for the Kb.
3. Mouse batteries - they DO need to be rechargables - they use much more current. However DO spend on the NiMh rechargables - a new set of those lasts me about 3-4 months between charges. Normal NiCd rechargables barely a month before needing charge.
4. For some reason, the third mouse button wont work in TFC if the mouse is plugged into the ps2 port - using the com port adapter is fine.
5. 2 sets work without any problem at all, and dont interfere with each other.
6. Logitech doesnt quibble about broken stuff within guarantee - I spilt Tea in my Kb and they shipped me another one foc.
