Any experience with Cisco 806 router?

I'm considering buying a Cisco 806 router because I can buy it at a great discount.
Has anyone ever had any experience with this router? Good or bad?
Could anyone please tell me a little about this one? (Compare and contrast, etc.)

<< all ports are 10megabit, lame >>

Big deal. I've never seen any network traffic that went faster than ~5 Mbps anyway, even on 10/100 Mbps fully-switched network.
So this router cannot be used as an Internet backbone. 🙂
10 Mbps will still serve all my DSL needs and more.

Yeah, I've checked all those links.
I'd like to hear what individuals have to say about this router, though, in casual use of it.

I can saturate my 100Mb hub at my home easily with 2 boxes, perhaps you've got something setup wrong =)

I've used 'em a few times's and supporting T1's and ISDN, but I'm not sure about using them as an Internet gateway for a home or small office, however. It's Cisco's smallest router with a real IOS. Just depends on what you want to use it for, however.

Those are really great for learning on. Full IOS. I can get them at the discounted price too, considered it, but already have a 1601 and 2501 🙂

If you want to make networking a future, I say get it.

the cisco academy discount eh? a great package for $250, considering you get two additional software packages for "free"

i like the fact it features the full IOS... apparently that's what everyone likes about it.

I'm gonna buy it to replace my linksys router...
