Any experience with an HTC Sensation? Any issues that I've overlooked?

I'm going to buy an HTC sensation for $260 after work off craigslist . It's only 3 weeks old (if the dude isn't lying). All the reviews look good. I don't need the very best smart phone. I just want something relatively powerful with a good screen, easy tethering, and on TMO so I can put it on straight talk. The reviews look good.

Anybody had or know anyone whose had a bad experience with a Sensation?

great phone, i used one for a bit before selling it to another forum member.

i had an evo3d battery (which is a bit bigger but fits in the standard back), and i had excellent battery life with a custom rom (24h+).

CM9 is pretty much out for it, i was running an alpha without any issues.

I have had mine since the fall. No complaints really except the fairly weak speaker.

If your going to ROM it, I would suggest you do it before the ICS update as the new hboot isn't breakable yet. I like the ARHD ROM the best, consistent updates and works better for me than CM9. Ask if you have any questions.

great phone. i made a thread on it awhile back. had it since launch and still loving it. as stated above. speakers are a bit weak but really not that bad.

gorilla glass rocks. never put a screen protector on, dropped it many times, still no scratches.


will sell mine end of this month to get the HTC One S.

I've seen them for $200 in my area seems like a good phone
