Question Any equivalent to the old "Attention Mid-Range System Builders" thread?

I loved that thread. Built two systems off of the weekly suggestions. It was great for people who don't roam the labyrinth of CPUs, GPUs and which motherboard fits what.

Is there any equivalent that provides a complete "best bang for the buck" parts list, here or anywhere?

Yeah, that was all mfenn, and he has been gone since '15, and I haven't seen another pop up yet. Most people now are just starting their own threads and asking for other ideas - that's what I did a few years ago when doing a build for a friend of mine, and folks around here found some deals I hadn't considered.
