How do you like this board? I wish Anand would do a review on it, cuz i'm ready to buy a KT133A now. It looks to be pretty good, supporting FSB adjustments at 1mhz, core voltage adjustments, and multiplier adjustments. I could do without the HPT370 controller however. Overall how would you rate this board in terms of stability, quality, and functionality? Does the multiplier adjustment actually work is another thing i'm concerned about.

Sorry, the 8KTA3 is not currently available in the US. Unfortunately the same can be said of all KT133a boards, none of which are currently available stateside.

Further, no one seems to have any idea whatsoever when we will actually see these boards enter the retail channel here. Some manufacturer reps said we would have them by X-mas. Ooops. Others said by the New Year. Good One. Now we are looking at possibly next week.

Makes me want to buy a PIV, except for the fact that I'm not a total imbecile.

Why would a board be available, but not in the US. The market must be one of the better markets in the world and i can't believe shipping contraits are keeping them from getting here. So any idea what the hold up is. I see the board is for sale here, but it says its on back order. Sounds like a good board, i think i'll give Epox a try. They seem to be on top of things.

I don't know why the U.S. is the last place to receive many retail parts, but it just is. Personal contacts aside, you can find on many web sites pictures of components released overseas but not here. Recently there have been a few pictures of KT133a products on foreign shelves.

As for why? Don't know.
