Any Electric Guitar Players Here?

I am thinking about picking up an electric guitar and came across the BC Rich line. Can anyone comment on these guitars. How do they play? Is the SOB(Son of a beast) a good guitar? Thanks

I cannot comment on the SOB line but I can say taht I don't care much for BC Rich. To me they just don't have the quality of sound that I am looking for.

BC Rich is a solid brand. They make good bass guitars, haven't really played their 6 strings though. I know they're the guitar of choice for jazz people.

The only things decent that BC Rich makes are basses. I've played a few of their guitars and they are absolute crap. Pick up a Fender MIM (Made in Mexico) Strat instead, they go for about $350.

BC Rich does not make crap- they're a premium guitar. They're known for their sharp, clean tone and funky styles and they're handcrafted in the USA. What a lot of people don't like are their huge fretboard, and their body styles don't agree with some.

Really? I've never seen a jazz guitarist playing a BC Rich.

BC Rich makes some premium guitars. Their high end guitars are very nice, but they also have a low budget Korean made line as well. I don't know which SOB the OP is asking about though.

Best bet is to go play the guitar (and others in your price range) and see if you like it.
