I got an 7900gs and is probably upgrading later as well, windering if there's a way to make a set of HSFs that can be used for several generations of gcards?

There's no standard for video card screw hole locations, so, no. If nVidia/ATi decides to make their screw holes in the shape of a rhombus, or use three or five instead of four, they can do that...

However, I know that the Zalman VF1000 comes with six different screw hole locations, so that's probably one of the most future-proof, unless you watercool, in which case you can use the Blastflow Siberian waterblock, a completely modular and futureproof block.
