I've never played dungeon siege. I remember it came out around the same time as Neverwinter nights, but I was completely absorbed with NWN and didn't have any interest in playing anything else. Years later I moved on, but never did try Dungeon Siege.
However, Ultima 6 was my favorite RPG by far back when it came out. I actually couldn't finish it because the disks failed on me, and I never did get a chance to get back into it. A few days ago I finally bought it on gog, and it's a lot of fun, but seeing the game recreated on a more modern (even if still outdated) engine sounds appealing to me.
So uh, anyone tried it? I'm kinda hoping it's just terrible, so I don't have to buy another game to play it myself
Is there a good way to get a cheap copy of dungeon siege? I see it is only available in a large package on steam, for $40, seems excessive. I see various versions of it for sale on amazon and ebay, but I'm not really sure which one is the correct one to buy.
