I don't think the first dual K7 chipset will come from AMD. VIA or ALI might beat them. I see what you mean though. I'll be dualing as soon as it comes out.

I sure hope that AMD gets here first...I'd buy their board before I'd buy one from ALi or VIA
 
AMD is not designing chipsets by themselves. The 760 is a joint project between ALi and AMD, and I believe ALi will be doing the manufacturing. I'll check my info when I get home tonight, but I'm pretty sure that's what the guy from AMD was telling me.
