Question for any who can answer. I am a dual national, born in USA (thus a US Citizen) but I was born to 2 Italian citizens, thereby qualifying me for Italian citizenship. I have a US and Italian/EU passport.
My question is, can I use my Italian passport to travel to Cuba? I have some Italian relatives who run a business down there and I would love to go visit them. Will I be readmitted back to the country? I'm asking becuase if I travel with my Italian passport, I will have to go through customs here upon my return and I think they will ask me for a green card or for my US status thinking that I am not a US citizen.
So...is this a good or bad idea? Can anybody see any other problems arising from this?
