Any drawbacks to running a Q6600 in a 965P-DS3?

I've got an E6400 running @ 3.2 right now . . . hopefully I'd get the same out of a quad . . . but will it run properly on the older chipset? Most people seem to be using the P35 boards . . .

Is it worth the upgrade? The most CPU intensive thing I'm doing now is probably gaming, so I'm wondering if I should just supress the urge to upgrade.
