Any do-it-yourself TIVO tutorials?

i have a 40 gb 60gxp deskstar, and an 80 gb WD 800bb, so i figured i should put them to good use. i found a few articles about this, but nothing in the way of a guide... i gather i'll need a reasonably fast processor (1 Ghz about) and capable video card.. like that AIW. any links, suggestions... anything?
