I just got back from a party....the crossfader on my mixer(gemini BPM100) is started to get kinda "scratchy" in it's movement. It still moves fast, just not as quickly. It is replacable. The question is, do I need to replace it, or does it just need to be cleaned or somethin?

you might want to try to get some Endust for electronics... my cuzin used it on his roommates mixer cuz some times the crossfader wouldn't fade out one of the channels... He sprayed a little of that Endust and it worked... try it, but don't hold me to it...

You can try cleaning it first. As long as it does not sound scratchy yopu should just be able to blow it out.
