You might want to look in San Francisco, probably not a lot of divers in Sacramento.

The handhole cover for the pump blew off when he nailed the throttle. Took less that 6 minutes to go down.

Just out of curiosity how big of a boat are we talking here and estimated value?

The boat is probably 20' and not worth the cost of recovery. But there are environmental issues to consider so we are going to recover it. I am leaving now.

So I don't know if it's true, but the rumor I've heard is that here in S. Florida if you sink a boat (Accidentally or not) and someone finds out (IE some diver stumbles across your boat later, or a news crew picks it up, etc) you are in major $$ trouble because of the environmental impact of gas oil etc leaking out. So I wouldn't *necessarily* assume his intentions are quite so noble. :)

where does the burden of proof lie reguarding if fluids actually leaked
