Any Dish Network Users?

Is there any additional taxes/fees thrown onto the bill ?

For instance the package deal of $31.99/mo is decent but is that the actual price ?

there's always taxes and fees. i had dish for a year and don't remember the exact number, but it was higher than their advertised price.

My bill just says 31.99 for AT60 Value Pak Locals plus 4.99 for 2nd receiver. Total 36.98. Just raised two bucks from last month. But it does not show any fees or taxes on top of that.

anyone else have dish and would like to comment? in this thread, one person says yes and one says no. i'm thinking about switching to dishnetwork since comcast keeps raising their prices...

I think it might depend on where you live. As I understand it, some states/counties/cities might impose their own taxes/fees. Call them up and ask.

America's Top 120 ...$37.99

That is my total.

Taxes could be hidden, but I pay exactly what they quoted me for this package.

edit: This is in Arizona, FWIW.

dish network is slow and the user interface has some retarded quirks. i still haven't figured out how to see the TV schedule past today. and the DVR isn't as nice as Tivo. but hey, anything that competes with the traditional cable industry is a good thing so I'm all for it.

i have the top 120 and a dvr and my bill was $50.55 each month, they recently changed the price for something i think and it changed. there are not as many taxes/fees as a cable bill
