Any DirectBuy Members in here?

OutHouse

Lifer
we need to replace some major appliances like a dishwasher and washer and dryer. I have heard about direct buy from radio commercials and talk radio host pimping the company. since saving money is always a good thing im looking into direct buy.

So are there any members of this company in ATOT, if so how has your experience been?

A good buddy of mine is the IT guy for the DirectBuy in Memphis, and he says that the deals there are phenomenal. I guess the real question is do you mind paying the $3-6k yearly membership to buy enough goodies to get a return on investment?

If your planning to buy a bunch of hight value items then it can be worth it. A former co-worker is a member and save a pill of money when he furnished his new house.

3-6K??? :Q

I guess if i was doing a whole house remodel it would be worth it but not for a few items.

Yeah really... $6000 will buy you everything you need and a hell of a lot more rather than getting the membership, PLUS the appliances.

I was just looking into this myself. Of course I do have to buy EVERYTHING, since I'm rebuilding my Katrina busted house. But, I don't like the sound of it judging by the majority of reviews on this site: Infomercial Ratings
I'm still reading up on it though...

I knew somebody that went to one of the presentations... they said you're separated and not allowed to talk to the other interested buyers, and had to make the decision RIGHT THEN AND THERE. If i'm going to spend several thousand dollars, i'll like to think it over a night or two.

So you're telling me that if I tell them no, then call the next day saying I want to give them $5000 to become a member, they're going to tell me "too late, sorry"?

I refuse to believe that 😀
