I have a Nikon 4500 and have been having a tough time shooting pictures indoors in low light (try using the indoor/party mode and get blurry pics) as well as taking action shots (pictures always blurry).

What modes should I use for each type of picture. Or what kind of adjustments can I make to help improve my picture quality.
