Would there be any difference between going from 192mb memory to either 256mb or 320mb?

I am working on someones PC and have a little extra memory I am thinking of giving them to help them out. But I don't see any bother with putting spare memory in someones PC if it won't make much difference.

Has XP Pro on it.

320 you might see a difference, but every little bit helps, provided its the right type and all...why not?

Going from 256MB to 512MB will make a huge difference. Going from 512MB to 1GB is really not noticeable except in some games. Windows XP will bog you down at 256MB.

196 to 320 would make a large difference for Windows XP (Home or Pro)! Definitely throw it in there especially if they have integrated graphics that is eating up memory already. I remember a huge diffence when I went from 256 to 512 (now I have 2gigs :) ).

To 320mb ya there will be a big difference, I went from 128mb -> 256mb on one of my older PCs and noticed a huge diff.

On my new one I went from 512mb- 2GB....biiiiig diff.
