Any Diablo 2 players on USEast here?

I had a level 46 sorceress (non-tweaker) and at that time I realized I didn't like that style and wanted tweaker more. But I decided to start a necro since that was the only class I hadn't played at least some of on battle.net or single-player. I traded all my sorceress-specific equipment for necro stuff (mostly uniques) so it is really easy.

I'm on normal mode but I'm going to kill diablo in a couple minutes.

damn, i just realized i am in the realm of asia does anyone know how to change the zone you belong to?

Do you get bad lag on the Asian server? Of course, I get hellish lag on USEast pretty often anyway. Restart those characters!

the problem is i am on a dual boot setup using english/korean windows, since that global IME thingy in IE5.5 cant be used in anything but a handful of M$ programs. somehow the english one got fuXored up so i am stuck with the korean one for everything i do... not that its any slower or more prone to incompatibility, just few annoying quirks like this here and there.

Well, if you joined USEAST, you'd have to make a new char there, but you could use the same account. You'd also need that gatesel.exe program from blizzard's site to switch back and forth from different realms. I got chars of many levels on USEAST account: =ironmage= and USWEST account staver. Of course, I'm currently slumming in BG2, but on BNET now and then.

Sorry I'm on west. (lotsa character types and levels).

What can we do about the servers overloading all the time? It seems they crash and are never up for more than 1-3 hours at a time? There has to be a way to do something since it seems that USWest server is the most overloaded and so are the others).
