Any device to clean up and split it 3-way from a headphone output?

Planning on using one of the Asus EeePC box as a carpc but problem is, all it has is a headphone output. Besides getting a 5.1 usb sound card, are there any devices that will take the headphone output, split it 3-way and clean it up to proper pre-amp levels? I've tried looking at car audio active crossovers and signal processors but they all require 3 dedicated stereo inputs. I really wish not to have to use a bunch of splitters.

Nope. Best possible way is to use an ASIO USB sound card with the appropriate number of outputs.

This is not true.

They take 3 stereo inputs because usually any decent deck these days has a front/rear/sub set of preamp outputs.

Generally speaking - your deck does active crossover duty now. You'd do well to get something like the Alpine CD-9887 - and connect your EEE to the aux input.

Next best way is to build your own device to make this happen. You can use op-amps to limit to a certain level, lots of ways to make it work.

Next best way is to radio shack - Y cable it. This way sucks.

I've ALWAYS found a way to make something happen in 12volt land. Look into old school 1990's era stuff from Ebay. Lots of variety there and I'm certain somebody built something at some point to do that.
