Any DDR4 Tests out yet?

somehow i'm not buying that this is an increase in power. Nowadays ram is like storage, you either have enough, or you don't. And it doesn't take a lot of money to have enough.

PC PartPicker puts 8Gb of DDR2100 at $100 / £70 (cheaper than the DDR3 equivalent of 6 years ago).

I was never worried about the price tbh, but i want to see some real increase in frame rate

a whopping 2% increase when increasing frequency from 2Ghz to 3Ghz .

so what's the difference between DDR3 1600 and DDR4 2100 ? five percent maybe?

With the current super high CAS latencies on DD4 that 1600 DDR3 likely outperforms 2100 DDR4.

But we've already known for a long time that memory speeds add little, if any, noticeable benefit go game FPS.
