somehow i'm not buying that this is an increase in power. Nowadays ram is like storage, you either have enough, or you don't. And it doesn't take a lot of money to have enough.
PC PartPicker puts 8Gb of DDR2100 at $100 / £70 (cheaper than the DDR3 equivalent of 6 years ago).
I was never worried about the price tbh, but i want to see some real increase in frame rate
a whopping 2% increase when increasing frequency from 2Ghz to 3Ghz .
so what's the difference between DDR3 1600 and DDR4 2100 ? five percent maybe?
