Any DDO Veterans here? Build questions...

I started playing DDO, and frankly, it's overwhelming...

I don't know which character class to play as, and I cant find any descent guides out there. which character classes are in demand in groups? Which classes are best for solo play style?

Is it possible to play the game 100% solo?


I started playing as a Rogue, but I am not enjoying the playstyle, and I am noticing that a Rogue is completely not suited for solo playing.

I highly recommend playing DDO with a static group of people because that is where 90% of the fun lies and you'll have a much better experience if you join a good guild earlier rather than later.

Set up your mic and join groups that are doing quests. Find some people that you get along with and see what guild they're in, then ask if you can join. They'll probably love to have you as all of the guilds that you would want to join are usually very actively recruiting.

As far as solo classes, the Exploiter is probably the best solo atm and you can find the detailed breakdown for it on the DDO class forums in the build section.
