The company that I work for has an immediate job opening for a Database Administrator, here is the job post:
Main job role consists of maintaining existing, and develop new, MSSQL databases, also create Access application procedures to link into MSSQL and Ingres databases.
MSSQL admin & maintenance experience, able to make custom modifications or changes to existing MSSQL databases, Access developer familiar with Access 97, Access 2003 would be ideal, and also report writing experience with Crystal reporting or similar.
Familiarity with Aerospace industry business processes or SOA?s is a plus.
A bachelor in science degree in Computer science or information technology degree would be a plus, but not necessary.
Familiar with basic level 1 workstation troubleshooting on Windows XP, or Windows 2000 OS would be helpful, as well as understanding of the Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 server OS.
Job location is in NYC (Queens), NY
