Any dates for q3 price drops? Release of q9550/9650, etc?

Topic.

I'm ordering sometime in mid to late-july, and just curious if the Q3 price drops will hit me at all, or if there's something out there that may interest me instead of the q9450.

Alternately, if something newer and shinier comes out and the 9450s prices drop enough, I'd hop on that, but I think, considering what happened with the q6600s prices in the last price drop/rollout, that that may be unlikely.

Ok, I've done some more research (ie, made a post on [H}ardforums), and I heard July 22nd there as well.

As far as chips go, I've heard they're phasing out the q9450 (2.66GHz 12MB L2), bringing down the prices on the q9550 (2.83GHz 12MB L2), and bringing in a new chip, the q9400 (2.66Ghz, 6MB L2)..with half the cache of the current 9450.

Anyways, if anyone has anything to add, feel free.

introduction of the Q9650 chip. 9x multi quadcore yorkie.

I'll be getting an ES sample soon. So wait for my mini review.
