Any danger in using a mini-jack splitter on the line out of my mobo?

I have an Asus P4C800E rev. 2 Deluxe.

I also have a Matrox RTX.10 video acceration card, which has a cable that is supposed to plug into the line out of my audio source (line level source).

I also have a pair of Sennheiser PC150 headphones that I would like to connect to the same output.

Is there any danger in connecting two devices in parallel to my mobo's line out?

(IIRC, resistance is cut in half, and current flow may be doubled, but is this of any practical significance if both devices are drawing a signal at the same time?)
