What's the cost of living like? If I bought a 2 bedroom house, what would be "average" price for a nice home in a decent neighborhood?

Do you currently live in Germany? If so, where?

The prices are sky rocketing ATM. During the last ten years the prices in Copenhagen has risen 100-200%
A friend of mine just bought a new build 100m^2 row house for 2.3M Dkr (~$340K), and that's a nice but not the most expensive area.
Basically most area's with house's would be concidered nice, but the closer you move towards centrum of Cph, the more expensive it gets.

That's about double of the prices where I currently am, but it sounds similar to what's going on in the US near big cities right now.
What about health care? I'm assuming (but don't know) that if I'm an employee of a Danish company, my health care would be covered by the company or the state.
