Any Damien Rice fans?

I've been a huge Damien Rice fan for about 3 years now. I think Lisa Hannigan has one of the most beautiful voices and was sad to see her leave the band.

This was the official statement:

"After much thought and discussion Damien has decided that his professional relationship with Lisa Hannigan has run its creative course. As a result Lisa will not be appearing at any of the upcoming live shows. Lisa is embarking on her own artistic endeavours and there are no plans for them to work together in the forseeable future. The current band on tour at the moment are Damien Rice, Joel Shearer, Shane Fitzsimonds, Tom Osander and Vyvienne Long."

With his success I think she realized she has created her own fan base to do her own work.

I've only heard the song in Closer.. and thats about it from Damien Rice.

That's too bad, their voices worked well together.

I liked the first CD quite a bit, but the second one hasn't grown on me much yet.

I felt the same way about 9, but Elephant and Coconut Skins especially have grown on me in the past few months. That always happens to me when I really love an artist's previous album.
